DESCRIPTION:Program: Cutting The Cable? / By All of Us / \nA Round Table Discussion by PMUG Experts and Members \nWe have had a couple of lively discussions during the Q&A sessions of our general meeting about alternatives to Xfinity/Comcast for TV and internet. Several members brought up their experiences and shared their solutions. There is a shifting field of choices as new services and devices arrive\, making this a good time to review the options to discover if there are savings to be had for your entertainment budget. Your best solution may be cable TV\, satellite TV\, internet streaming\, terrestrial broadcasts\, or a combination. Our November meeting will feature an investigation of cutting the cable. \n  \nHow to Attend: \nSince the beginning of the pandemic we have held our monthly General Meetings via the Zoom app. It has worked very well\, making attendance convenient for our growing number of members from outside the Portland area. \nPMUG will send out an email with an electronic invitation that will start a Zoom virtual meeting on your computer or iOS device.
