DESCRIPTION:Program: Is Pages Apple’s most Unappreciated App? / By Chris\, Loren\, & All of Us / \n“Pages.app” is another powerful program included free with every Apple Macintosh and available as a free download for iPad and iPhone. It is both a capable word processor and a versatile layout app for publishing electronic or printed documents. So why don’t more people use it? \nIf you are not familiar with Pages\, you will want to attend the May general meeting. PMUG’s own Pages power users\, Chris Kent and Loren Leed\, will guide you through several little stumbling blocks that can lead to lots of frustration. Once revealed\, Pages becomes a friendly and productive tool for both word processing and page layout tasks. \nWhether you have had success or failure with Pages\, there will be tips and techniques to give you a boost – wherever you are on the learning curve. In addition other members will be offering insights and questions that will help you get started or progress in your use of another Apple user asset. \nCome along to our virtual general meeting\, for information and camaraderie.  You are most welcome. \nHow to Attend: \nSince the beginning of the pandemic we have held our monthly General Meetings via the Zoom app. It has worked very well\, making attendance convenient for our growing number of members from outside the Portland area. \nPMUG will send out an email with an electronic invitation that will start a Zoom virtual meeting on your computer or iOS device.
